This is a group of adult riders that meet monthly at Edinburgh Park for equestrian tuition and to enjoy the company of like-minded horse enthusiasts. It is not a club, so there is no committee, the organising of instructors and the day’s activities are done by volunteers within the group and the individual with these jobs can change from time to time.

From February 2022 we will meet on the second Saturday of the month and the day usually consists of a lesson on the flat in the morning and a second lesson after lunch which is normally jumping but can be games, a second flat lesson, pole work or occasionally a trial of something different like obstacles or polocrosse.

Our group uses experienced instructors and while we like to see our horse’s training and our riding skills improve, we always aim to enjoy ourselves at the same time. The horse’s welfare is always a high priority whatever we are doing. We pride ourselves on being a friendly lot and lunch time together is a great time for horse anecdotes and general horsey chatter!

Our group is for people with their own horse and is not suitable for complete beginners as lessons are in groups of around 5 horses, so all riders need to have reasonable control of their horse.

Anyone wishing to attend these rallies will need to have their own insurance. This is usually obtained by Equestrian Australia membership; a participating membership will give 24/7 individual insurance and this can be done on-line. Contact the email addresses on this website if you would like to join us.
